Meet Your Instructor: About

Welcome! My name is Kelsey Strieby and I am so glad you found my page! I was born and raised in a small town in Ohio by my parents Randy and Joni. While living in Coshocton, I spent every summer swimming at my Nana's pool. In high school, I spent my summers working as a lifeguard at our local aquatic center.

I graduated from River View High School in 2003 and went on to earn my Bachelors Degree in Communication from Texas Christian University in 2006. I bleed purple! GO FROGS!

Shortly after graduation, I took a position as a nanny and personal assistant for a PGA TOUR professional and his family. This is when I first learned of ISR. I was so intrigued by the program and the skills their children were learning.

Eventually, I moved to Scottsdale, AZ where I spent 5 years working as a Clinical Specialist for Kimberly-Clark and was afforded the opportunity to travel the United States assisting in spinal procedures.

In 2010, I met my husband, Ryan and in December 2013, we were married. After our wedding, we relocated to San Francisco, CA where I worked in urine toxicology sales and just 11 months later, we welcomed our son, Will, into the world.

In 2015, Ryan resigned from his career in professional baseball and once again we were on the move. This time, we landed in Lexington, KY, where Ryan would complete his college degree. At 18 months old, we enrolled Will into ISR. The moment he began lessons, the wheels in my head began to turn. I saw first hand what the program had done for our son and the impact I could have on the lives of so many children.

In March 2017, we welcomed our second son, Hudson. During maternity leave, I knew I wanted to pursue a career as an ISR Instructor. Within two weeks of this decision, I was accepted and scheduled to begin my extensive training. In September 2017, I completed my training and began teaching ISR in Kentucky.

In March 2018, we moved to Fort Worth and ISR Fort Worth was born. As my business started growing, so did our family. In November 2019, we welcomed our third son, Grady and in August 2022, we welcomed our sweet caboose, a fourth son, Beau!

My business has blessed me in ways I never could have dreamed and I could not be happier with my decision to become an ISR instructor. I feel confident I have found what I was meant to do all along!

Every session, I am amazed at how helpless children are transformed into aquatic problem solvers. I consider it pure joy and an incredible blessing to give these children the gift of a lifetime. I love meeting new people, educating others about drowning prevention and watching my students develop the confidence in themselves as swimmers.

With a passion for small children and making a difference in my community, I am ecstatic to offer ISR here in Fort Worth! I look forward to teaching your child and working together to ensure that "not one more child drowns!"
