Meet Kelsey Strieby
Welcome! My name is Kelsey Strieby and I am so glad you found my page! I was born and raised in a small town in Ohio by my parents Randy and Joni. While living in Coshocton, I spent every summer swimming at my Nana's pool and all of my high school summers working as a lifeguard at our local aquatic center.
I graduated from River View High School in 2003 and went on to earn my Bachelor of Science in Communication from Texas Christian University in 2006. GO FROGS!!! In one of my first jobs out of college, I was a nanny and personal assistant to a professional golfer. This is when I first learned of Infant Swimming Resource (ISR). Their three small children participated in lessons and in a matter of days, I was astounded at the amazing skills these children were learning. I became very passionate about the program and later that year, inquired about becoming an instructor. Shortly after my inquiry, life took an unexpected turn and I made the decision to move to Arizona. I spent five years working as a Clinical Specialist for Kimberly-Clark Pain Management and traveling across the United States assisting in spinal procedures.
In 2010, I met my husband, Ryan and in 2013, we were married in Scottsdale, Arizona. After we wed, we relocated to San Francisco, California where I worked in urine toxicology sales. It was here, we welcomed our first son, Will to our family. In 2015, Ryan resigned from his career in Professional Baseball. We once again were on the move and we relocated to Lexington, Kentucky in order for him to complete his college degree. While in Lexington, we enrolled our son Will into ISR. He was 18 months old. From the moment he began lessons, the wheels began to turn. I saw first hand what the program did for our son and I saw the impact I could have on the lives of so many children. In March 2017, we welcomed our second son, Hudson and after deciding not to return to work, I knew I wanted to pursue a career as an ISR Instructor. Within two weeks of this decision, I was accepted and scheduled to begin my extensive training. I could not be happier with my decision and am confident I have FINALLY found what I was meant to do all along!
Every session, I am amazed at how helpless children are transformed into aquatic problem solvers. I consider it pure joy and an incredible blessing to give these children the gift of a lifetime. I love meeting new people, educating others about the program and watching my students develop the confidence in themselves as swimmers.
With a passion for small children and making a difference in my community, I am ecstatic to offer ISR here in Fort Worth! I look forward to teaching your child and working together to assure that "not one more child drowns!"
